As word gets out about the sport here in Israel, we continue to expand to new schools and new cities. The goal is to put as many sticks in the hands of the youth of Israel as possible.

This weekend was a success in terms of introducing the game to a brand new audience.

The Israel Premier League teams for Ashkelon and Netanya traveled to Ramla to play a regularly scheduled league game which would also serve to showcase the sport to almost 1000 students who had never heard of lacrosse before.

It was a great feeling for us as players to play in front of that many kids, but it was also cool to show them something for the first time.

It was a beautiful day in Ramla or as they say in Hebrew “yom yafe”.

Students were impressed at the level of play and many asked for autographs at the games conclusion.

Students also got some one on one time from some of the players explaining the game.

They were taught the rules, the origins, personal information of each player, and then got a chance to try it.

Introducing lacrosse to young people is a therapy for me. Lacrosse has given me so much. It has introduced me to some of the most interesting and incredible people, it has allowed me to travel to all corners of the earth, and playing lacrosse is something that I have a passion for.

I want others to experience the same thing that I did. Join the movement, Israel Lacrosse.
